UMC Proposed Annual Student Expenses for 2008-2009
The cost of a full year of on-campus study at UMC is based on an average credit load of 15 credits per semester for two semesters.
The U of M, Crookston has restructured the tuition policy in favor of a flat-rate tuition strategy which makes all credits above 13 per semester tuition-free. Students taking 13 or more credits will pay a flat tuition rate of $3,458 per semester. Students taking 1 to 12 credits will be assessed $266 per credit. Students who take advantage of the flat rate and graduate in 4 years will pay significantly less and can save nearly $20,000. To graduate in 4 years at UMC, a student, on average, must complete 15-16 credits per semester. For more details, read the Q & A.
