Federal Pell Grant

The Federal Pell Grant is the largest of the federal grant programs available to students who demonstrate need as determined by their FAFSA application results. To receive this grant, you must be an undergraduate student who has not earned a bachelor's or professional degree. (A professional degree is usually earned in a field such as medicine, law, or dentistry after earning a bachelor's degree.)

The Pell Grant amount you receive depends on your financial need and enrollment level.

Summer Pell Grants are only available if you did not attend or were enrolled for fewer than 12 credits during one or more previous semesters of the school year. To receive this grant, the Financial Aid Office must receive your FAFSA data by the last day you are enrolled and are eligible for payment.

You cannot receive a Pell Grant at more than one school concurrently.
