Minnesota Non-AFDC Child Care Assistance

Minnesota residents not receiving AFDC may be eligible to receive a child care grant. The maximum award is $2,600 per eligible child for the year and cannot exceed the actual cost of child care expenses. The award calculation is based on family income and the number of eligible children. Contact the Financial Aid Office for an application form. Students who receive AFDC funding must contact county social services to be considered for child care assistance.
